Sunday Already

Sunday Already
Yesterday started with a road trip. I together with two work colleagues we headed off to the Mallee region for.... Yes you guess it.... A quilt shop in Karoonda SA Mallee Country Connection..... Packed with the thermo for a cuppa stop at morning tea time and another thermo with hot homemade pumpkin soup and crusty bread rolls for lunch break as the weather was cold, wet and windy both where a great choice for the Road trip and last but not lease the plastic card ( which got a good workout)

We arrived just before ten in the morning.... so a nice hot cuppa went down well as the quilt shop ...opening time was 10.30am so that worked in well.....
The three stooges   musketeers   spent two and half hours in fabric land , where by this time the stomachs , had the final word that is was about time we took sometime out to enjoy soup and rolls....... just as well as any longer all three of will need to find a second job (chuckle).
These are my fabric purchases:-

Today the weather was a bit more agreeable, so what else does one have to do on a Sunday before Monday back to work..... once again you have got it right..... the domestic queen role  and then a few hours pulling out weeds and more weeds i have this sensation  that for everyone I pull out two more pop up. Mid afternoon spent in the quilting room.

Now it is off to think about the evening meal.... well that’s a start to think about it.... then I have a couple of projects that just need the binding stitched down, while I watch
House Rules... A Place to call Home and Endeavour...... and that’s the weekend. Ch eer Marc
