EXHAUSTED

Totally pooped, worn out and tired.......
The last week has been full on....... I have quite a few days on annual leave due..... So I thought I would take a w eek off and do some stitching, quilting and reading......  will now go back  a bit week last Saturday ....  Planning my week off...... Saturday went fishing.... working in an office 5 days a week might need to get some Vitamin D  the day ending with no fish but it was a great day with DH feeding the fish.
Sunday spent as the domestic queen..... prepared a few meals for the coming week so I could spend time stitching.... got the washing ironing dusting, washed all the floors even more furniture and clean under all the areas that you usually just wash around... cleaned all the windows........... Trimmed the plants and trees that hang over from the neighbour’s trees.....
Monday up early saw hubby off to work the first time in 3 years I have had off a full 5 days off from work i....   first job make a hot drink find that pattern and fabric...... right all ready to go ......   just getting in the swing of things the phone rings DH “hi love you know a few weeks ago I order some new hats for work ..... Well there in now..... Could you just pop into town and pick them up’   sure luv not a problem (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)   well that’s about 10miniute drive  in 10 minutes back maybe another 15 minutes for service ....what’s about half hour ¾ hour tops in one’s day........................
Wrong caught up with a friend and chat chat chat................ a few local’s who of course didn’t take in consideration that I wearing, a tacky old t/shirt trackies and sneakers that maybe I not at work today (sure I wear such casual clothes to work but not quite that casual) but keep cool they just need to tell me things to do for them when I get back to work.
So now the trip has turned into over an hour and half...... no problems still got 41’2 day’s Annual leave.......................
Now I just have a nice cold drink make a quick sandwich and get back to some stitching and quilting..................... think again ...........phone rings “Hi Mum ....... just rang work to see if you are coming to Adelaide this coming weekend and I was told you have the week off ....... you mention a few weeks ago that you might be taking a week off so”   “Well Dear son ...yes I am on holidays this week”..............” O mum the sounds great ....... how would you like to have your two grandsons for the week”    “sure son “   

So the rest of the day (Monday) is spent moving indoors plants low bearing objects and lots of things small one’s can get into... making up the portable cot and small bed............

DH gets home at 4pm    get to Adelaide by 6.45pm back home by 10.20pm  
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and half Friday afternoon  two beautiful boys  10 months old and 2 years old to which  I now will refer to as Search and  Destroy (chuckle) finally got Home from Adelaide late last night................. Totally exhausted, pooped, tired, and worn out, beat, bushed and dog-tired so hence went straight to bed............. arousing today.... so quiet ...... missed them.

Still I would do it all over...    enjoy your weekend   cheers marc
