A day off .................

Friday …………..Had a fab day, had a little sleep in to 7am then at 9am went shopping in Loxton, had a nice chat with Trish and Liz and purchased some fabrics

From the range ………Dandelion Girl for Fig Tree Quilts
Having a special Birthday next Month so DH (who I love so dearly but is not the greatest in selected presents) suggested I seek out something for myself.

Well I had fun, but I will still keep looking got a few more weeks to finalise.

Then of to another shop in Loxton called Vaughan’s it has FABRIC and SHOES, I had to control myself , I left with fabric only this time.

These fabrics are from a range – Timeless Treasures
(unfortunately the third fabric from the left doesn’t come up so well it has small Orange, Aqua ,Tan and Yellow colour Daisy randomly throughout the fabric).

On the way from Loxton to Renmark I just had to stop and take these photos of a local Almond crop that at the moment bursting with blossoms thought I would share with you .

Then of to Renmark where regrettably no fabric was purchased
but Big W had a DVD sale, where upon I left with 8, and security in toe, at the check out unfortunately it took 6 attempts to get out the checkout area, Would you believe that the batteries in the camera in my handbag kept setting the alarms off as I went passed the security bars on my way out.
Never a dull moment (lol)
A few weeks ago now at work a local contractor was in dong so glass maintenance as I walk past I noticed he had this fabulous tin on the work bench full of nails !!!!!!!!
I very promptly approach and propositioned him
I would buy him a new container in exchange for the tin at the end of the day we left the office both happy

I saved this ..........

And he got this

Yes I know what you are thinking who got the better deal…. Now of to do some needlework
