Where have the last five days gone

It has been quite awhile since I have been so lazy I mean idle, the last five days went so fast

After getting the basic things out the way

washing, dusting, washing, vacuuming, blah blah

cooked a few meals so I could be lazy I mean organised (chuckle)

Apricot Chicken

Mince Curry

Beef Stew

I spent the last few days .............watching several DVD's

Read 5 books

 Finished the binding on two quilts for my dear grandson

Sent my BOM 2006 quilt to Liz to embellish a few weeks ago

 and yes the quilt is back and once again Liz has done a extremely great job

stitch the binding on and hand stitched down on Friday night ( finished about 3.30am Saturday morning)

   

 the photo does not give a very good image off the pattern but it is great

 Quilt all finished and on the spare bed 

Oops this should have been the first photo............

The   Easter Bunny this year  left this  lovely bag full off chocolate eggs.

But due to it being Tuesday I am only able to show you the bag (chuckle)

I wonder where the chocolates went ??????

I will have to do a extra Zumba class this week

Ups and Downs

The day started out with, going to the gym for an hour, I am so unfit, but I had fun.... see if I say that tomorrow when I am aching all over.

Got to work early to get some work done before, the customer enquiries and phone call started. plus mid morning had a meeting to attend on dealing with aggressive clients.

By the end of the day I was feeling a bit aggressive........... my balancing of figure getting ready for the monthly BAS just did not want to work for me. So I arrived home a bit down............ but things changed as

DH have gone and got the mail and there was on the kitchen table a parcel for me........

Recently Maree  had a give away on he blog and yes you guess it I was the lucky recipient of a lovely gift

A nice end to a beastly day .........................so a big thank you to a very generous lady Maree

I so happy.............everything Maree enclosed was just so me...........

Be awhile

Where does the time go ...................  last Saturday took a quick visit to Loxton and drop off my BOM 2006 Quilt for Liz to create magic on.
She is hoping to get it finished within the next cuple of weeks.
So far this week the days have gone so fast been very busy at work.
One of my work colleague lent my some books to read last Friday (6) so each night I have been reading, so far I have finished 4 of the books these books are  -  A collection of Amish Romance and Women of Faith stories.  I am enjoying the time each evening reading before going to bed , so hence very little needlework is being done (chuckle)
