and enclosed was a amazing stitched post card and phone bag the workmanship (oops woman)

It has been a Scorcher

Hot hot hot ...............Today in sunny Riverland the temperature reached 45 degrees Celsius that is 103 in Fahrenheit............ other words hot.

Another scorcher again today, thank goodness for air conditioning....

Happy Australia Day

What a great day to get together and enjoy this celebration

Hope that everyone was able to have a great time celebrating .

My day started at 5.30am where DH myself and other employees of the local council volunteer there time to make sure the event runs smoothly...... Approx 6.30 am a 3 km walk started ........... the numbers where great for that hour of the morning,

followed by breakfast with the support from a local service club were ready to serve from 7am... followed by the official ceremony from 8.00am

Home again home again - after the clean up

Where the family enjoyed a BBQ and I caught up with some much needed sleep.

What a week

Well it has been a very interesting, busy emotional week

As from previous post, DH grandmother passed away last Sunday the 18th January 2009

Started Monday with the PAPERWORK

Tuesday more paperwork and a very quiet night home even though it was DH and Myself 30th Wedding Anniversary , very tired and not in the mood for celebrating

Wednesday more paperwork.......... thought I would do a quick blog Wednesday night to announce the winner of my 100th post giveaway....Not so easy ....Warning Warning flashes across the screen

I got a message that some where a mysterious virus has found its way on my computer I panicked and right away called my Dr PC . He so kindly called around and did a check, and indeed a clean up has taken place.

Thursday ............yes more PAPERWORK

Spent the evening cooking a few items for grandmas wake after the funeral.

YS also had his wisdom teeth out Mid afternoon Thursday

All went Well and he was doing fine for the first day ........

Things a little different today ............. full blown face...............throbbing..........requires a bit of pain relief.

Went to work today for a few hours .........to organise a few things for the up coming Australia Day celebrations this coming Monday the 26th January.

Grandmas funeral late today, beautiful service .....followed by that special time with family and friends to take the time to remember and exchange stories about a very graceful lady.

Gone but not forgotten.

There are simply no words to express my heartfelt thanks for the kind words you have extended to myself and family , I are deeply grateful to you all ........Hugs to you all.

Hope things get back to some sort of normal..............but then again what is normal , life is full of love, hope, drama, stress, surprises, disappointments , laughter, tears, joy and so much more.

Gone but not forgotten

Dear Father in law called in this morning to advise the family that his mother, my Dear husbands grand mother passed away this morning. Grand ma will sadly be missed, she passed away very piecefully at the age of 101 years .

( how bazzard that this should be my 101 post).

Those we love don't go away,

They walk beside us every day,

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed and very dear.

This week may been a little Topsy ......

Family to arrange funeral arrangements

DH and I celebrate 30 years of marriage (Tuesday)

YS in Hospital Thursday - having Wisdom Teeth removed (He has never been in hospital since birth 25 years ago ?)

Unfortunately work schedule in quite busy (but that will be on hold for a few days)

I am 100 Today

My fellow bloggers I have today reached my 100th Posting

My First time ...... My First time ........ I have been for quite awhile looking at so many other blog sites, that one fine evening after viewing Happy in Quilting I took the plunge and joint the Challenge finish five by the end of July, Peg has so kindly be placing my challenge items on her blog (still trying to figure out how to add her blog in this space) still you have to crawl before you can walk then run, After much encouragement, support and patience from Peg I have finally take the plunge

I must say since taking the plunge back in July 2008, I have had pleasure of the following ---- encouragement, sharing, meeting, laughing, exchanging, motivation, friendship, inspiration, kindness and so much more ........... I would like to share my 100th posting with all my fellow bloggers out there and those still thinking of taking the plunge .............have a go .......
